# AgentProof Continuity Covenant

AgentProof is being designed so interoperability does not depend on perpetual operation by one company.

The public specifications, schemas, governance text, and conformance rules are intended to remain openly implementable under their published licenses.

## Continuity commitments in the architecture

- Major-version semantics are immutable once published.
- New versions supersede; they do not rewrite old records.
- Public schemas are canonical artifacts, not UI documentation.
- Commercial services may disappear without invalidating conforming records.
- A verifier may operate independently of AgentProof.
- Proprietary trust intelligence is optional to base-format validation.
- Export and migration are first-class requirements.

This is an architectural commitment, not a guarantee that any particular corporation or website will operate for a stated number of years.
